I'm still debating whether I should study for business since I'm gonna drop it anyways. The only thing I know is the contingency theory, that's it gg

I remember winging Year 11 Business basically.

2 weeks before Prelim yearlies: I'll make 3 terms worth of Business notes. I can do this.

2 days before: Nope. I'll just memorise the textbook.

Came 2nd in Year 11 Business.

Was devastated that I was so close to 1st (could have gotten a prize at Speech Day).

Definitely picked up my game for Year 12 Business though.

Funnily enough, after trials, I was internally 2nd for Year 12 Business (again) and was like "not this again".

Then I ended up being overall 1st after the HSC exams and got the 1st in Year 12 Business prize at my school <3

Guys, just give it a good attempt at least before you drop it.

If you give it your best and don't do well, at least you won't have any regrets dropping it.

Dw enigma, ima cambridge dude.
Mine are in 4-5 weeks......holy shit the realisation just hit me. Done fuck all studying :(
Dw y'all no need to stress. Even if you're not doing the best you can this year it's okay because things seriously turn around in year 12 if you put in the effort, trust me it all pays off, and you could go from being a band 4 student in year 11 to a band 6 student in year 12 (no kid). So just try your best this term and save the energy for year 12 :D

Lol, if all they is eye candy then they should get dumped. Relationships should definitely have a balanced give-take ratio, but that's not to say if a girl/guy is unable to contribute as much as you are, in any aspect, that you should let them go. It's all about supporting each other throughout the rough patches. Imagine you had financial problems or lost your job and really need your partners support but they just turn around and say" "soz, got 99 problems and you aint one anymore", never to be seen again.
Ofc, if they don't contribute at all and just sit at home doing feck all, then they should definitely be gone. But relating to your story WLL, he's just going through a rough patch and he needs your support atm. His probs realised his f'd up and trying to pull it back, which can be an eye opener for him for the future. Just give him time cause i think you read wayy to much into it. Plus remember, his still a teen so he still got time to straighten out.
Yeah I know. Overall, I just wish he threw me 10 minutes of the 24 hours of the day to just talk, you know?
I know he has time for video games, maybe about an hour a day at least. So I'm a bit upset that he can't throw me some time to maintain our relationship.

And this video game addiction just links to the laziness and the heavy procrastination which affects his studies as well. But yeah :)
Like I said, there are a lot of things I love about him, out of all the guys I've met, he's the one who has respected me and respected my friends, which is obviously a #1 priority as well ^^

This thread is getting too deep

Nah i get it, your upset that he prioritized gaming over you. That's another thing that you need to bring up, as well as his future. Just be like "yo, games aint gonna give you a bj, so you better talk to me or else you can go back to dating your right-hand"

YES. THIS WAS ME IN YEAR 9/10.
I would rock up with dot points for an essay and just get an 18/20.
Came 1st in Year 11 Business

So you start dating a girl and she is the PERFECT girl for you and fits all your criterias. She didnt go uni or tafe but lies to you that she did, cause shes afraid you'll dump her. Months pass and you really dig her, hang with her nearly everyday and even your parents love her. Then one day she tells you she doesnt have a tertiary education. Do you dump her or nah?

lol tertiary education has nothing to do with anything.

Some of the most successful people never even finished it.

i never stated that tertiary education = success. I was using that scenario to relate it to a certain idea based on previous context.

My IQ is a joke. Plus, Business Studies is a subject that doesn't require much natural aptitude. I found that it rewarded hard work more than any of my other subjects.

After dropping Business, are you planning to take up Ext Japanese or MX2?
