wow... i give you a sick name and you came up with that. Just wow.

I agree, but i mainly listen to edm or hardstyle (depending on my mood). Dubstep is somewhere in between them
I like edm too I listen to melodic dubstep when I'm doing my hw, otherwise I go HARD >: D

I listen to a lot of genres. Edm is the shiz, if i feel like going hard then hardstyle is the way to go. I listen to alternative rock (linkin park) occasionally. But R&B is my jam alldayeriday.
I hate mainstream music though, like who the feck actually likes taylor swift??

i love a whole lot of genres. my first and favourite love for music is alternative rock, mostly Muse. then i got into indie rock like arctic monkeys and black keys. I love pink floyd and deep purple tho, and am getting more into 60's-80's. But also soundtracks are amazzinnggg like hans zimmer inception, grand budapest hotel, social network soundtrack, especially when working because lyrics can be ditracting.
now i really want to get into metal, and am starting to explore what i like in it
the thing is i dont really like happy music at all - only a select few songs.

No, every MAINSTREAM R&B song sounds the same. The good songs have different rhythms, pace and beats. Plus, generic songs tend not to flair their bass beats as they're worried that the general society who know nothing about music will be put off. Thus why i stay away from drake, lil wayne, nicki minaj etc. cause they're all money hungry and seek to appeal tone deaf ppl in order to gain money
Chris brown is probs the only artist that is crazy popular that i listen to. The rest are artists that no has ever heard of.

Put your hand up if you procrastinate sometimes for more than 2 hours a day
More like hands up if you procrastinate until 11pm/12am and only start studying at like midnight.

Hence, the sleep deprivation kids.

I don't have a specific genre I'll listen to
I'll just hear a song and be like 'fuck yeah best song ever!!!' And listen to it on repeat for a week until I find another song lol

I love listening to soundtracks, or pre-20th century music (aka the broader "classical" period) depending on my mood. Sometimes it's pop- but only if it's lyrical, not random shit about love or life. But I just can not stand metal, dubstep, lots of rap, and dance to an extent. Yeah. I listen to whatever strikes my mood.

And I sympathise with those who've been to parties/formals and had no idea what song was blaring out of the speakers- that me most of the time.
