Excuse my stupidity for saying that a centre with multiple uses replaces a pool, a second oval, or more uniforms. The other choices are hardly appealing.

Spend as much money on your kids as you want. If they end up as drop-outs or check out chicks, now that is a waste of money.

you speak of a pool like its just there.
my school has a seat with a cover on it.
thats how we roll.

Sports facilities are exactly comparable to a building!

You are aware that there are schools with both of those? If you could only have one without the other then you might possibly have a point but sadly you don't as yet.

What?

I'm saying people are like "Ohh.. private school! So cool! It's got a pool, and all these uniforms that will be such a nuisance to don on and off during the day and so many ovals because you can never have enough grass."
What is the use of a pool if your lunch break is 25min? No, not very useful. And you can't hold carnivals there either, it's too small. In short, a waste of space and money. That 20K+ can go towards more books and computers :) That's more educational - and that is what a school is, an educational institution, not a recreational centre.

Not every school has "all of the above".
But I go to a public school which definitely can't have all of the above (and I am sure every student would detest more uniforms, changing into our PE uniform is avoided at all costs). If we had to choose, everybody would vote for the "building". Some schools are more creative, some more athletic. We're not a sports high school and we're really into the arts. So it suits us just fine :)
And like I said, a pool is useless because a) lunch breaks are too short.. not to mention you have to change and shower b) it'd be too small, there are approx. 1,300 students at my school, if not more.

Basstits, what's the first thing you do when you get stuck in a hole?

Stop digging.

fyi: pools aren't for lunches, they are for training and general fitness, although I can forgive you for not knowing what cardio work is - the most exerted you get in a day is from cybering on MSN.

So your argument still makes no sense...and try not to quote me saying stuff that were never said:)

You guys must stink. But yeah changing is the greatest injustice to man.

this obviously screams less facilities > more facilities. I see it now! All those people thinking a great well rounded education are wrong. More is less, less is more. Why can't the world see it?!?!?!?!!?!?!

lol maybe if you went to a school with a pool you'd be able to judge the usefulness of a pool:D
lol personal hygiene sounds so foreign to you

1. FYI, I don't use any messengers. And I wake up at 6 almost everyday to run.
2. Training? WHEN? We have swim school, but swimming is not part of the curriculum and if you have a pool and 4 ovals, I'd like to see all of them put to use.

We don't stink.. If you don't change, you don't do sports. It's that simple. We hate changing, full stop. At home, I change as much as I want.

STOP.

FUCKING.

POSTING.

If you don't like it, don't read it. Seriously, all you do is go around saying everyone is an idiot and the thread is crap, etc. You're so arrogant and you pester people on the 2008 HSC forums - haven't you finished school yet? You're not helping us out or anything. So leave.

I like my public school and it's not a waste of money. End of story. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and you've asked me to shut up so I will. I'm sick of this.

No, I came in here, posted a legit response, and then came back and rebutted some points, then made a final "stop fucking posting" post, because the shit you are writing is absolute garbage. OH HAI GAIZ MY PUBLIC SKOOL CARNT HAS ALL ZII SAEM ACTIVITEHS N STOFF AS A PRIV8 SKOOL DIZ U NUT NOZE?

Not helping YOU =/= Not helping ANYONE. I suggest you quickly learn why that is so, or else eyou are going to have severe issues in life.

Great. So, stop posting...like I said. And besides, private schools aren't a waste of money either ;) They have better facilities, wider subject areas, wider extra curricular areas BECAUSE THEY HAVE THE FUNDING TO DO IT. If that's what you want (or your parents want you to have) you end up there, if not, you get the Public System, which is obviously less glamourous (OH GEEZ I WONDER WHY!? WOULDN'T HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE FACT THEY ARE RUN SOLELY ON PUBLIC MONEY?)

CAPISH?
No body listens 2 me... Good old internets!

You sound like an overweight artfag scared of hard work and any type of physical activity and having never tried it you bag it out. You are a self proclaimed socialist which shows your agenda in attacking private schools has nothing to do with fact but your perceived distaste for them?

Why is that? Did you get rejected by a school once? Do you hate people who have worked hard in their life to provide an excellent education to their children? I know working hard is a crime but people do get away with it. Maybe you could start an online group and invite all your other socialist buddies. We can hunt down anyone who advocates for a tighter social welfare system where people can't fraud taxpayers and the government?
