ok one more..

A cannon is at the top of a 60m high cliff firing at a castle on top of an adjacent cliff 110m high. The cannon and castle are 200m apart horizontally.
The cannon balls hit 20s after firing.

(a) the initial velocity of the projectile.
(b) its initial horizontal vleocity.
(c) its initial vertical velocity.
(d) its range
(e) its max height above launch position.
(f) time taken to reazch max height.
(g) its time of flight.

Not sure if these are right...but

a) v=u+at, 0=u+(-9.8*20)
u=196m/s

let W = angle of elevation
tanW = 50/200
W=14degrees 2 minutes

b) 196cosW

c) 196sinW

d) s=u*t
s=(196cosW)x20
s= 3803m (I assumed that they wanted the FULL range of the projectile..not the range to the castle which would obviously be 200m)

e)v^2=u^2+2*a*s
0=(196sinW)^2+2*-9.8*s
s=115.247m

f)s=0.5*a*t^2
115.247=-4.9t
t=23.52s

g) 20s (kinda obvious)
