i guess the invasion of iraq was a prewar thing...

and soon US will join south korea and invade the north...

then china fires all its long range missles at japan..
den china invades taiwan.. and American will intervene and help taiwan..
den australia helps america.. and so forth
and den country a attacks country b.,. and so forth..
and hence ... ww3

I ve read up on this stuff I was curious like you,but if you think about it any random could have set up a website and said ww3 was going to happen because from this poem it suggests it(which yet could mean a million other things),some other sites say it is war on terroism ,and then some say some big phat war in europe...............................

The Mayans would have agreed. The Mayan calender predicts that (depending on who you ask) either the end of the world or the end of an age in 2012. But yeah, I'll be stockpiling food in my bunker pre-2012.

John Howard PM, Aledander Downer (Foreign relations minister) and defence Minister Robert Hill have said that they would not intervene in the Taiwan issue because Taiwan is recognised as China by the UnitedNations.

Nortadamus got it wrong in 2000 when he said the world would come to an end, how can we believe is so called 'predictions' now?

thos passages which you quoted were actually written by a Canadian graduate named Neil Marshall as part of a research paper in 1997. This poem was included as an illustrative example of how validity of prophesies are often exaggerated.

If by World War you mean that similar to WW1 and WW2 then Iraq and the "war on terror" will have nothing to do with WW3. Like the other two world wars, it will be between the most developed nations who have the ability to invest internationaly. It would be most likely between the UK and the US against the European Union.

Any other places would just be stages for the great powers to fight on, or resources to consume.

1. The US would not invade the North in any conventional way, not using the South as a base anyway, because even the best case scenario results in 500 000 civilians dead in the south in the firt couple of days.

According to what I have read Nostradamus predicted the world would end in 1999. So since that didn't happened I don't know how accurate this world war 3 prediction is.

But I do think that sometime in the future there will be a world war 3 since people just can't get along.
