Yeah, before I get my MacBook I want to get a good protective skin so I can put it on straight out of the box. I'm looking at getting an InvisibleSHIELD or BSE semi-permanent skin. BSE is basically the IE skin but much cheaper, however you have to make your own solution to put the skin on. IE has greater reputation because it was the first product in the market, Lifetime Warranty on scratches and includes a ready to spray solution bottle. Has anyone every used IE or BSE skins? Is IE worth all the extra money?

And on a sidenote, what are you currently using to protect your device?

my laptop's lid is scratch resistant :D
I wish Apple products were like that. They have contracts with third party companies that sell protective cases and skins, I believe.

If you're talking about the IE/BSE skin, it's semi permanent. You can't reattach them once they go back on.

And Kebabs, I do plan to buy a laptop sleeve as well.

In my opinion, a laptop carry bag should be sufficient for protection.

Are laptop bags really that expensive? All I want is a nice laptop sleeve, but even that is quite expensive on that site.

Just get a case for carrying it around. I'd imagine a permanent skin/case would make it substantially uglier.

Rushfaster is expensive but their stuff is good quality... at least what I have bought from them has been.
My brother has bought three bags from Rushfaster, everything looks really good and quality is topnotch, but yeah, it is quite expensive. :hammer:

I take care of my stuff so cases and skins are redundant.
They just make your device thicker.

Well, i wouldn't get a hard case because it doesn't absorb any shock if u drop it (although it's better than nothing) so i would go with a soft case or silicon, but they all hav their advantages.
