heard some shit on the j's today about african students on campus being attacked, and racist stickers being put up around the place

whats the go? i leave the place for two months and it falls apart

my mum warned me about the so racist attacks today..that shit is fucked. Last semester i found some weird right wing extremist shit on a couple of notice boards around uni, but i dont think it was related. Im still pondering whether to go to gurge or not??? I also wore a shirt inside out to a lab today for a full 15 minutes before someone pointed out my error in dressing

no, not at all. because I am connected to the high speed uni internet 24/7, so im always on the internet and the computer is literally 30cm from my studying space, so its not a huge adventure for me to surf the net for a couple of minutes. But admittedly, i do tend to waste time on the net.

I think I remember one of my lecturers saying that the University has a optical fibre connection (but that may have just been between buildings).

not sure of the exact speed, but i can download stuff off the net at over 100kbps sometimes which is pretty rad
