I use the Heinemann Preliminary Biology textbook along with the DotPoint Preliminary Biology book. When I'm studying/learning I use Heinemann, and when I'm revising I use the DotPoint book.

That's weird. Seems like Excel is pretty good for Chemistry and Physics, isn't it?

I had a look at Excel Chemistry. I think it is quite poor. But Excel Physics is definitely good.

i cant really compare the qualities of math textbooks as i use a few of them, but it is def. worth using more then one.

Yeah, for Maths I like to have multiple sources to refer to.

I know this isnt in your list of subjects BUT! Physics and Biology DOTPOINT BOOKS! Their so well organised and they go by the syllabus...So every point in the syllabus e.g 4.6: Solve problems that apply the principle of conservation of momentum to qualitatively and quantitatively descrive the collision of moving a vehicle with a stationary vehicle.

Nice . I might consider buying the chemistry, physics and biology dotpoint books. I'll probably maximize my marks by doing more questions, familiarising my knowledge with each dotpoint. Does it actually help in exams, or do the same questions pop up? I also heard they are a bit expensive...

I've got Jacaranda for Physics.
Conquering Chemistry and Jacaranda for Chem.

I might require another Physics one - what do people think? (And any thoughts on any of the textbooks that I already have?)

I don't really see a use for Maths textbooks. School already provides us with Fitzpatrick 2U and Cambridge 3U and they seem like really good textbooks.

Macmian Physics 1 is pretty good, it has black and white colour n stuff.

Dot Point books are more for revision. If you are learning the content for the first time, it would be wise to use a proper textbook (in my case I'm using Jacaranda).

For Economics I highly recomend Australian Economics by Tim Reily. I have found them to be more advanced than most school text books

I really hate that book. I'm going to burn it after HSC.
