Re: Where can I get Fitzpatrick book?

why do you use cambridge? i personally think it has to many irrelevant (hard) questions.. which have hardly been used in the HSC..
Cambridge has better explanations, but that's my opinion.

Re: Where can I get Fitzpatrick book?

Q: Does 3U book include 2U? Or do I have to buy both in order to supplement my current study of 3U Preliminary?

Thanks again :)

So if I do 4U Math that's $180 at Dymocks!

:eek:GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH

Plus more for the Cambridge Study Guide!

:eek:AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH

PS: Thanks for the heads up, you saved me bussing it to Dymocks only to scream my head off...

Re: Where can I get Fitzpatrick book?

Quick replies would be appreciated!

Is the Fitzpatrick textbook otherwise known as "New Senior Mathematics by JB Fitzpatrick"? And it has a plain yellow cover?

Thanks!

3 unit = green
4 unit = reddish colour

Re: Where can I get Fitzpatrick book?

Thanks to all who helped out! I got 2, 3 and 4U Fitzpatrick yesterday at 2nd hand store :D

Now all I need to do is effectively implement it with my study of Cambridge 3U...

Re: Would you recommend these books?

I heard dot point physics and chemistry were really good, they were recommended to us however, you might want to be wary with some of the answers for dot point physics, some are wrong at the back of the book.

james ruse is also using jacaranda for physics but i think we've still got the first edition loll.

I haven't heard of chemistry context 1, my school uses conquering chemisty.

hope that helps =)

Re: Would you recommend these books?

I've hear Dot Point is extremly good, and has extreme errors in the answers LOL! so you could just use it to do the answers by your self.

Jacaranda Physics is good, dont know if the 3rd edition is very different from Second Edition.

Jacaranda Chemistry Should be good since Jacaranda Follows the Syllabus pretty good.

Re: Would you recommend these books?

Don't bother with the third edition. Yes, dot point is really good. After I study from my notes, I do some work from dot point to ensure that I can apply the knowledge. I rarely check my answers when I do dot point so I don't know about accuracy of answers. However, it is a good textbook for exam preparation.

Chemistry Contexts is alright. I think Jacaranda is better.
Order of textbooks (best to worst): Jacaranda, Dotpoint, Chemistry Contexts, Conquering Chemistry.
