Related texts, two, three?? (1 Viewer)

Sorry if this has been asked a million times but

My memorised essay has 3 related texts....A lot of practise belonging papers I have seen have asked for AT LEAST two related texts but some have said just two...
I am pretty worried, should I be prepared for an essay that might ask specifically for two related texts instead of 3?

Most people only have 2. So stick with two. I dont think they'll ask three. It's the first year.

I don't really care if they ask for two but I'm worried if they would ask for JUST two.. I have memorised an essay for 3 texts and I would pretty much have to re-write it to reach the word count for an essay with just 2

I want a question that would say
"AT LEAST two texts of your own choosing"
not
"Refer to TWO TEXTS" (only) :/

What you want and what you'll get are probably going to be 2 different things

"AT LEAST two texts of your own choosing" or "Refer to TWO TEXTS" is fine by me because i'm doing two

I'm fairly sure the Board of Studies has never asked for just two texts (well, just by looking at the past 5 years worth of questions). They always go: 'at least [insert number]'.

To be honest, if they ask for two texts, that's because they're expecting a deeper level of detail and by discussing 3 texts, most likely you'll lack depth.

Either that or write really big with heaps of spacing and you'll reach the 6+ pages you should be aiming for.

I really hope they ask for at least 2...My teacher put me through the effort of getting three and I'm using 3 no matter what.

yeah but look it uses one text from the stimulus booklet and on top of that it says at least one other related text... which means you could still use up to 3. so i guess 2008 would be the only anomaly
