rhyming scheme for the road not taken ! HELP ME (1 Viewer)

Hey guys! Just was studying hard(always :) ) and I was doing The Road Not Taken, and I came to the realisation.... What is the rhyming scheme for it?? I know it goes in the form a,b,a,a,b... but can you write that in an exam?? Or is there a proper name for it??(Like a couplet etc) Please Help Me!!!! THanKS! kahlie,

sorrry bub, poetry is not my forte.

i never remember wat they are, so i say "bladibla poem has a consistent rhyme scheme throughout each of the stazas. The first and third line have the same rhythm and and rhyme scheme, while row 2 and 4 in each stanza also coincide with one another. An example is found in the second stanza where it says:
mary had a little lamb
its fleece was white as snow
and everywhere that mary went
the lamb was sure to go.​

as far as im aware, the ryhming scheme is "abaab". that is how you define it. and then put a few sentences like beccaxx's when you explain it:

"the consistent rhyming scheme throughout the poem maintains a sense of rhythm. in each stanza, the first, second and fourth lines rhyme, exemplified in the first stanza with wood, stood and could" etc etc.
