yesterday i was able to hopefully finish my entire collection of poems (my teacher advised me that it was at the ready) so at this point in time i am editing parts of my reflection statement (my initial word count was 1637, and i think i might be down to 1500)

ive been giving my MW to teachers in the english staffroom so they can read and pick up anything that needs fixing... i havent got to my reflection statement yet... its coming :)

Unfortunately I'm not going to be able to write an entire second draft.. I am just going to be changing sentence structure, word choice, and other minor sections of my original first draft. The structure and storyline will have to remain unchanged because of the lack of time. Is anyone else in this situation?

I'm glad that my story is intentionally ambiguous and fragmented though, because that's pretty much how it comes out of my head in the first place anyway. So it means I won't have to re-write it to make it less confusing :p

Reflection statement is the hardest thing I have ever done. I am pretty sure that my work actually has no concept now that I have dissected it to death. Am 90% of the way there on word limit, but will be chopping / changing as long as I possibly can.

Oh, and yeah, my total script is about 4,500-5000 words, but I use a lot of pauses. 12,000 seems excessive, to say the least.

often i found in the amalgamation of all my concepts into the reflection statement it can sometimes prove somewhat overwhelming just with the sheer complexity you are attempting to incorporate, i would encourage you to read through your reflection statement periodically so as to maintain a coherent chain of thought and sort of clarity in your writing. im sorry if it doesnt work, but it might be able to help

(I'm aiming for 6000, as I don't believe a longer work is necessarily a better one, and my story works better as a shorter piece.)

We handed our MW's in today (I don't know why we are a day early)... What a relief. But also worried that it may have been a shank.
