I don't know what you mean there? Heres another example. Say x=1. A=6x+10. A=16. Now x is increased by 2. So 1 + 2 = 3. Now A=(6*3)+10. A = 28. 28-16=12. So I still get 12. Does that make sense?

Re: General Thoughts: General Mathematics

Q.14 was 12 so D. A=6x+10 right. If x is increased by 2 what will be the corresponding increase in A. Well just say x = 4. A=6*4+10 A=34 Now add 2 to xto make it 6. A=6*6+10 A-46 46-34=12 Therefore D
i agree completely.

I can't remember all of them, but I think it's pretty close to what I did. 1. C 2. C 3. C 4. C - this one I originally had A, but then I worked out question 26a using this expression (obviously with different figures) and I worked it out with the expression in C, and the one in C gave me the answer for question 26a and so I chose C. 5. D 6. D 7. C 8. D 9. D - wasn't too sure. 10. B 11. B 12. A - I thought this was a really easy question but after seeing some other posts, maybe not? lol 13. B 14. D 15. D 16. B 17. C 18. C - had no idea, never been able to do this crap so I guessed. 19. B 20. C - no idea, guessed. 21. B - guessed. 22. B - guessed.

how does every1 remember the answers they put?
can someone put the questions up?
Lol because we took the test home. And when you read over the question, the answer you put comes back to you. I'm not sure if putting the test up is against the rules?

I think i did ok in the test. Around 88-90

Carrot man, i agree with all your answers but 2.

13. C (it says volume of water per month, so divide 50000-18000 by 6)
16. A (your standard inversely proportional exponential.)

My school mark was 90 so any chance of hsc mark scaling up to 95 :)?

With 16 I have no fucking idea why I put D. Can you explain 13 in a bit more depth?
