How is his logic flawed? It is completely right.

Also, I thought your teacher did this -- how could he/she have gotten it wrong?

Amount revenue decreases by = (3x100) - 2(10x100) - (5x100) = $1500

The foreign producers certainly don't receive government revenue.

My logic here also may be wrong, cause I didn't get that answer in the first place.

It's C. The government gets the tariff, yeah, but that is passed on in the higher price of the good. If it remained at the same price there'd be no point in protection - the tariff means it carries through to the price and the imported good becomes less competitive in a domestic market!

Yes, its flawed. Gov gets tarriff from imports, but domestic producers will be able to sell the good at $15 and don't pay a tariff. I forgot the question though so maybe im wrong
ha LOL domestic producers?

the question asks for foreign producers LOLOL

its okay :( i got b)
It's not b) because b leads to an increase in demand for AUD as people want to invest more. It's c) because a reduction of the net income deficit means that there is lesser exchange of AUD for foreign currencies to pay off our debt, lessening the supply of AUD.

sorry to ask again but why is 18d)?
HDI is measure of GDP per capita, life expectancy, educational attainment.

because country A has a lower GDP per capita but a higher HDI you can infer that it must have a higher of the latter two than country B.

You could definitely have made an assumption country A has a higher Gini coefficient, but D was 'more correct' based on the information provided.
