Also, I'm now in Fisher, where there seems to have been some sort of false fire alarm? I was approaching when I saw the fire engine and a crowd of people outside.

I'm just in the middle of writing up my EDUF2007 lit review, due in by 6. I have just discovered the most wonderful individual exists in the English department - Dr Barry Spurr. I'm making it my mission to take any English course he heads up as soon as I get a chance to.

Isn't he the guy that wrote a lot of the HSC English guides? If so, he's awesome.

Oh and Nebuchanezzar, I didn't mean that in a mean sorta way. Sorry.

Also: Dr. Stevie is like...the best lecturer I've ever had. Lawrence Werner in English the other day was pretty awesome too. I'm loving the lecturers I've been given this term.

lol there's these 2 guys that look nearly exactly the same (or maybe they're the same guy and i'm just slow on the uptake)...but yeah i saw him in the eduf lecture today...i was gonna go talk to him but i thought it would look really weird if it wasnt him "omg hi i know u from the internet" haha great impression...

im just gonna yell out "JIMMY" next time i see him and see if he turns around

I've said I know you from teh interweb to people twice before. First time didn't go to well, and I was stared at. Second time was that Ruchir fellow who was nominated to the SRC, who I approached at uni one day. That was pretty cool.

Heh if you were talking it was probably me. I frikken hate people who talk. Shut up or GTFO. Dr Stevie really needs to get some Leslie Scanlon lecture discipline going on.

Nope. Only times I talk during lectures are beforehand, or to say something really quick to whoever I'm sitting next to. Those folks up the back reallly annoy the hell out of me. They really skin my potato.

I was gonna take a page out of that lady from the UNSW forum and write "SHUT THE FUCK UP" on a piece of paper in highlighter the other day, but didn't do it. I've only ever told someone to shuttup once during a lecture...it's not very easy, or pleasant.

Yeah it's weird, I feel rude telling people to shut up when they're the ones being rude.

I do "Shhhhhh" a bit but it doesn't really work. I don't understand why people talk. You cannot listen to a lecture and talk at the same time. If you're not listening, then leave. Attendence is not marked, you're not doing anyone any good. Grrr. My potato is also skinned.

yeah i do it. im doing the essay in week 7. some of the readings for this subject are fucking epic (like the first one... 80 pages lul)
