Semester two dates? weird? (1 Viewer)

Does anyone else find it weird that Semester two starts on Monday 28 July and then AVCC Common Week/non-teaching period starts on Monday 29 September to Friday 3 October ?

The break is usually held in the week before the Labour day public holiday.

Having a break towards the end of semester is infinitely preferable to having one after week 3...
