setting up mail on a mac (1 Viewer)

hey all mac users,
just wondering if anyone knows how i can set up my hotmail email addy to my mail account icon thingy thats on my dashboard. like is it a POP, IMAC, exchange etc server??

i have nfi so any help would b great

Hotmail removed POP, which would allow you to do this.

One way you could get Hotmail through a program would be to download Thunderbird, and then get the WebMail extension: http://webmail.mozdev.org/, and then download the Hotmail extension, follow the instructions and you'll be reading hotmail messages through Thunderbird.

"Mail" doesn't allow u to sync with hotmail...its just the way things are
