Yea probably...lol...i don't want to ask the teacher because he said with the marks my class is getting...only 4 ppl will be able to do extension 2 next year which is not a good sign.nerdsforever said:Ask the teacher what he/she thinks.
I mean if you think ext 1 is easy, you should probably do ext 2. Maybe your marks dont correlate because you havent been given a tough challenge to motivate you
lol, you're only in prelim atm.shaon0 said:I just looked at an Extension 2 paper and nearly sh*t myself...
how are you meant to do these especially the conics and complex numbers?
Extension 2 looks way to difficult for me.
Yea...it seems pretty hard now but will it start making sense by the time i get to choosing 4unit math?-Anfernee- said:lol, you're only in prelim atm.
When you start leanring the course work it'll start to make sense.
You'd be surprised, half of EXT2 is just bookwork. If you look through questions 1 to 4 for the hsc paper, they are pretty much identical from year to year.
With Q's 5 and 6 being of moderate difficulty but still do-able and Q 7 and 8 being near impossible to complete or comprehend but the upside is that not too many other people will be able to them either.
Yes,shaon0 said:Yea...it seems pretty hard now but will it start making sense by the time i get to choosing 4unit math?
No, actually the Physics, Some of the 3unit cambridge and some of the Chemistry made sense...Actually i kind of understand 1% of the 4unit course where it deals with trigonometric identities and polynomials-Anfernee- said:Yes,
I said it would start to make sense when you actually start learning the course content in class and doing questions, writing notes, past papers...etc
Also, look into private tutoring if you need to, It aint no thang to give up that change.
Just like you did with all your current courses...If you had looked at the content in year 10 I'm sure year 11Physics, Chemistry and 3 unit textbooks, papers ...etc wouldn't have made much sense and would have looked pretty hard.

No i think you have to qualify since our classes 4unit teacher wrote the Cambridge 4Unit textbook.-Anfernee- said:Well, do you have to qualify to be accepted into the 4 unit class?
Or do they just let anyone in 3unit that wants to, do it?..at your school
3unitz said:youre not supposed to look at it yet! of course its going to look difficult... 2 unit would have looked difficult in year 10.
I don't know honestly...I could go well.-Anfernee- said:Well, do you fancy yourself being able to make it in ?
I'm 100% he did 4unit...he answers all the questions on BoS and takes him 5 seconds ie. 3 lines to do a very complicated question.-Anfernee- said:3 unitz, you maths genius, you.
Did you do 4unit?
