Should i Drop Maths? (1 Viewer)

my current year 12 subjects are:
Modern History
Extension History
Advanced English
Business Studies
Business Services
General Maths.

i want to do Bachelor of Commerce (Management) at university.
maths is not my strong point, and im considering dropping it so it won't bring down my scores.
what should i do?

if you aren't good at maths, just drop it. most commerce courses need 2 unit maths as an assume knowledge, but no one can stop you if you still want to do commerce courses. so go for it if you really really really bad at it.

ps. maths is a great subject.

There's a difference between being bad at maths, and not wanting to do it.
I've seen you do maths, and you're at least profficient at it.
If you want advice, keep maths.

Currently you are doing 11 units so if you drop Maths you won't be eligible for an HSC or an ATAR - unless you left off a subject from the above list.

You have listed 5 x 2 units and 1 x 1 unit which = 11 units (2 Modern + 2 Advanced + 2 Business Studies + 2 Business Services + 2 Maths + 1 Extension).

If this list is right then you can't drop Maths anyway.

Management? Yeah... I don't think you'll need maths for that uni course. If you like maths, keep it. If you don't like it, or need more time to study for other stuff, then drop it.

you probably don't need maths for your course, but it's very likely you'll need an ATAR

or u forgot to list something

Maybe he should drop maths, if he can't even do that right...
