I had a couple of friends over, who have now passed out. The Asian alcohol tolerance gene is not the best :p

Ah, I love the "Asian redness syndrome" that happens to some of my mates after one beer or so.

Probably wouldn't risk having lightweight drinkers around my house. I'd hate to clean up yak when I'm hungover.

I wanted to change it for a while. The name was chosen in memory of a loved one whose favourite player was Emlyn Hughes and because I only ever really post in the football thread it seemed fitting.

Edit: Braad - long time no post aye?
wth happened to your name??

Just to clarify, I'm Asian too. I know there are Asians who can seem to drink litres and litres of spirits without getting drunk, but it seems on the whole most of my Asian friends seem to be pretty tipsy after a couple.

Diana- there's a type of guy that doesn't drink? :p

I wasn't aware that drinking at home was some sort of social taboo :p Certainly it's quite normal for Chinese anyway. Could this be the longest stretch of non-football talk on this thread yet? :p

I drink with my Dad at home at dinner all the time when he's around. Wine for him and Jim Beam + Coke for me.

On another note.. I really really hope we don't shell out £8mil for Crouch. Kuyt's supposedly available for another £2mil, so why are we going for such a high risk player instead.

But the thing iz, my unclez and I drink stuffz like Chinese white rice wine, Remy Martin and Martell and all that. After the day when me my dad and him finished one whole bottle of Remy Martin in one meal I found out that I could out drink my old man, yet still could be able to sit and watch a replay of some Chelsea game.
