i think more should be done by football about racism in general. for a start the fines given to the offending clubs and fans should be far higher, not these tiny fines the spanish FA is issuing, only then will clubs get serious about stopping there fans stupid actions.

things like sexaul disease wont be prevent unless people are made aware, world hunger wont be solved unless people are made aware of the situation, and the footballing world must show the whole world that racism is unacceptable. Some game of football is alot less important then the global effects of intolerance and racism.

football is a great game and as such it has a duty to make this world a better place.

and if they players are abused they have every right to complain, you would if someone came to where you worked and called you a fascist red neck prick just because your white and a bit better of then them, or any other insult based on whatever racial background you might have.

Pfft, missed one header all game, didn't miss a tackle all game. Kolo, Ash and Vieira were shocking defensively only Senderos stood up to them. He's gonna be a superstar.
that's if Senderos doesn't get shipped off (like Upson). Wenger looks likely to stick with his more expensive defender: the experienced Cygan, if he had the choice.

Senderos looked better than the other three around him.

Champions League 1/4 final drawn tommorow night ... not too sure if it is our time though. I don't want to face an Italian side - I'd rather play Chelsea or an in form Lyon than Juve or AC. Playing both a home and away match at the San Siro seems to fuck us up mentally, it happened afew years back.
Yeh i think is the draw takes place around noon in Switzerland, so late nite here...

The 'easier' draw for Liverpool...PSV :p

the easier the opposition for liverpool, the more chance they will be knocked out
Not necessarily. Liverpool tends to lose/fail to score when the opposition puts 11 men behind the ball because the midfield doesn't have the creativity to get such defenses. When the opposition plays good attacking football but has a brittle defense Pool can get through them. This is why I'm quite worried about the derby this weekend, as Everton will no doubt play for a draw.

I'm concerned because Liverpool suck and we can't ever win the important games

Upson got shipped off because he wasn't good enough, Senderos looks like he can be. No point comparing the two.

UCL Quarter-finals draw:

Liverpool v Juventus
AC Milan v Inter Milan
Lyon v PSV Eindhoven
Chelsea v Bayern Munich

Semi-finals draw:

Chelski/Bayern Munich v Liverpool/Juventus
AC Milan/Inter Milan v Lyon/PSV Eindhoven

Hmm interesting ties...both Milan teams drawn together again! Liverpool v Juve...repeat of '85 final, chance for Reds' revenge ;)

And a possible all English semi....

Yeah.. Reds got a tough draw that's for certain. It could be a couple of frustrating nights watching Milan Baros run head down into the Juve defense and losing it time and time again. Lyon vs PSV should be great entertainment though. 2 teams playing attractive attacking football.. should be great to watch.

Well I like to watch the Milan derby again, but the down side of thiz iz it iz in the UCL, which makez a bit weird.

Lyon haz greater quality than PSV, they will easily go through.

same with Monaco last yr, Morientes was a standout last season
but its not about how good they play in the end, its how effective it is (ie Porto beating Monaco)

though i like to admit Lyon is a heaps better team than the Monaco of last season
