Sort of on the right track, but it has more to do with internationals than FC.
All made their international debut before their 30th birthday.

Its a hard one, but keep thinking [and googling] you'll get it.

Its to do with ODIs, but its not performance related.

And its a pretty unique event - only acheived by those players names and a couple more.

And yes, Kim Barnett the pom.

I'll ask.

Whats the common factor between;
Andrew Zesers
Kim Barnett
Mahendra Nagamootoo
Daniel Vettori

And the answer is not "They have all played international cricket"
Tough! Question thief.

Goddamn, I got no idea.

Zesers and Nagamootoo both scored 2* on debut; Vettori scored 4; Barnett scored 84. They are all even numbers! Yes ..

Hehe I have no idea .. Barnett and Vettori both debuted in matches where THREE players were debuting .. but Nagamootoo and Zesers were the only debutants in their respective games.

Ok. I'll have one more stab at it:

They were all either NOT OUT or LAST MAN OUT for their teams in their debuts.

Shit.

NOW I read it's not performance-related, and it's got to do with their names or something.

Umm .. they all have an 'A', an 'E', and an 'N' in their names?

Who gives a shit. Bookies ones are always obscure things that aren't interesting and noone cares about. "Why is 'such and such' number significant to Australian sport?" "What do these players have in common?" there is probably several things in common/significant but Bookie has a particular one in mind. Its like asking "what did i have for breakfast today?" as a question.

actually i reckon those questions are more interesting than an obvious "googable" question, because it actually involves some thought process and deduction.

their original proposed debut match was abandoned/cancelled?

The point is for it to be hard you faggots. It's ungooglable [well I guess you could, but it wouldnt be too easy]. When you post a question there is always the cocksucker like Brogan who tries Google first up and fails. Keep on guessing.

Heres an update to the question

Whats common between;

Zesers, Barnett, Vettori, Nagamootoo, Pankaj Dharmani, Mahmood Hamid, Indika de Saram

No other players have acheived this feat so far.

Remeber; ODI debuts.

If its ungoogleable, as you say, and so obscure that no one would know it off the top of their head, then what is the point? Anyone who gets it right will just have had a fuckin shot in the dark, coming after eliminating countless incorrect answers.

Not really. Cricinfo.com has a very extensive database and some clicking around there will get you the answer in no time.

And greg, I only boldened them because they were part of the new update.
