On our HSC Results Notice that we receive on Friday, will it say whether we got a state rank?

You can check on the wednesday arvo?

What time wednesday do you think ranks will be released? I've heard 12pm and 4pm. I reeeally want 12 because my teachers finish at 3:30pm (last day of school) and I want to go in and tell them. Otherwise I'll have to wait until I see them at the Academic Ceremony

Do we at least get some sort of indicator on our final HSC Credentials that we received a state rank? A certificate, or something?

No. I reckon that you would probably know from your marks though.

99+ for maths
96+ for sciences (except senior)
98+ for histories
98+ for commerces

the top mark last year was 99 so i was assuming that all got 98. but 97 does make sense.

Sciences - phys needed 97. and not all 97s got it
Chem needed 96. but not all 96s got it. all 97s got it but

both maths needed 99. but not all 99s got it. all 100s got it but.

i don't know for other subjects - english maybe 97?

yeaaah would be indeed, but again.. it's very highly unlikely. would be very nice though, I put heaps of effort into chem. If I don't get Band 6, I'll be devastated.

i reeeally want to make my modern, extension and society teachers proud. we got tenth in the state for extension in 2005 but nothing since then. none EVER for society and modern 1st in the state once but that was ages ago. so would love to make them happy

i don't have my teachers' numbers...my school is big on teacher-student boundaries hahah

Yeah, I would like that. But I don't have any school to go back too. It is closed.
