Wait, what? I don't know a single international student...and coming from a school like mine...
There was 1 (maybe 2) in my grade, a few in the grade above and a few in the grade below. They dont really go to selective schools or private schools, just stay with a host family and go to the local school. The one in my grade i was friends with, apparently UAC and hsc results site were blocked in china so he couldn't find out it if he got into uni =P (i.e. can come back to aus lol), i heard he is coming back though so guess he did. Theres a whole seperate UAC system for international students, there's more than you think.
