Wait, do we need supplementary texts for any of the modules? (Not AOS)?

Besides that, my school issued a document with every subject and recommended holiday hw.

I'm doing all that, plus planning to finish the 2U maths HSC course.

I'm going to:

- Read my English Advanced and Extention 1 texts, and find some related texts. I also have an assessment due in Extention 1, so i'm going to do that.
- Go over Economics, I kind of switched off a bit the last few weeks of term.
- Go over Business Studies, I didn't do as well as i'd hoped in the first assessment, came 3rd.
- Go over General Maths, again I didn't do too well in the first assessment, came 8th (thank god it's only worth 10% of the assessment mark).
- Revise a bit of Legal Studies, although i'm going quite well in it I still want to revise before half yearlies.
- Studies Of Religion...well...if I get bored enough :D

But my teachers have advised against us going 'hard out' over the holidays, they've said no more than an hour or two of study per day, they've seen too many students in previous years going hard out over the summer holidays and losing motivation later in the year, when it matters much more. I'll admit I havn't really been doing much study since school broke up (8th of December) but I've been away so it would have been a little hard to. Definitely going to get into it in the new year though.

don't think anyone has mentioned this yet, but those with slow or illegible handwriting, now is the time to fix it up. It plays a huge role in your hsc especially in English and humanities. (e.g. for 2012 cohort, there were quite a few posts "how to improve handwriting..." etc).

goodluck!

Just wondering for those Ext2 English students planning to write their piece over the holidays, how are you doing your research? Are you researching first and then write or doing both simultaneously?
