Hi everyone, I'm fairly new to this website so I'm really sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong place.
I'm currently studying my Year 12 HSC course and I'm deciding on whether or not to drop from Biology to Senior Science.
List of what I'm studying at the moment:
1. English Standard
2. General Maths
3. Ancient History
4. Studies of Religion 1
5. Business Studies
6. Biology
Total= 11 units
I'm doing really bad in bio and I'm thinking of dropping to SS, but I'm constantly hearing and reading that it scales really badly.
Is it better for me to drop or stay with bio?
My teacher told me that at the rate I'm going in bio, I would probably get a band 3, but if I moved to SS it could get Band 5-6.
Also, I've already missed out on 4 weeks of work but I'll be able to get notes from friends and find resources since the class isn't really deep into the content yet.
PS: Does general math also scale you down a lot, even if you do well?
Thoughts? Thank you
