i think i started to like the show after i listened to introduction(started to sing along with it:S)
oh by the way the artist who sings "Ritsuko OKAZAKI"passed away from sepsis shock[long time ago].she did the following anime

UFO Princess Walkure.

Samurai Champloo was cool enjoyed but funny intermissions(not for sale or ebay..hehe)
but absolutely disappointed by the ending...
