I would support Sydney FC but... you know. 90 minutes per way to each game.

If I'm at uni on a matchday, I might take a bus to the SFS and watch a game, and get a ticket at the gate - but other than that... if I'm at home and I have to trek, yeah.

The media do this all the time.

For example, Sky Sports announced Michael Owen had agreed to join Stoke City ages ago but he only signed in the past 24 hours. You have to realise that the media love to extrapolate from what an agent may or may have not said and then present this as fact.

Until the club shows Del Piero holding up a Sydney FC shirt, it isn't a done deal. I've followed football long enough to know that things change very quickly.

so happy to see this deal go through. the next two seasons will be big for the a-league, can only go from strength to strength from here on
