Not worth buying tickets... sucks this year. Oh well, hopefully they can develop some taste and pick better bands. The Mars Volta is their only saving grace, although not quite worth $120.

I like to think of it as a cultural experience rather than specifically a musical festival Besides, it'll be an early timeslot, good way to ease into the day. He's a champion and is well worth listening to, for my money anyway.

Is it definite that Rollins is the replacement for AFI? If it is, than that is seriously fucked up. How could they replace a MUSICAL act (albeit shit musical act) with a spoken word performer. And i thought the line up could'nt get any worse. Oh well, i have already sold my syd ticket and will hopefully go to the Mars Volta side show instead

Nice, for once it's a relatively clash-free timetable as far as I can see, and the only ones I do spot at a glance are bands I wouldn't mind seeing and bands I *WILL* see, so that's easily decided Perhaps this is the benefit of a show that isn't packed out with shit you want to see all day non-stop on every stage!

their sole three albums run in total for just over 1.5 hours... they could easily remove "we will fall", "i need somebody", "death trip", "l.a. blues" (it'd be orgasmic but i'd doubt they'd play it), and a few of their other weaker (BUT STILL FUCKING AWESOME BECAUSE THEY'RE THE FUCKING STOOGES) songs and be left with the best set ever. but they have to play "i got a right".

i have a feeling kiosk will get mauled by everyone.
