It all counts
That's what I assumed too, that they would just pay it out. I can always hope. Of course, I have to be offered a position first or this is a moot point.

haha okay a little insight. woolworths has to give you notice before they fire you, but if they dont want you they just wont roster you.For South Australia (the agreement I know because it's the one I work under):
Period of continuous service --> Period of notice
Less than 1 year --> 1 week
1 year and less than 3 years --> 2 weeks
3 years and less than 5 years --> 3 weeks
5 years and over --> 4 weeks
(s.20.1.1 of the Agreement)
That's for termination only; if they make your position redundant, and hence want to terminate your employment for that reason, it's a far more lengthy set of conditions and payments.
woah 5 years u poor bastard. i salute u.hey guys im a CSM from darwin been with woolies for 5 years nearly worked in produce longlife deli service liquor and cash office
Lol, I agree!jeeez how do u guys do it? ive been doing customer service for about 2 yrs and im already hating my employment with a passion.
By the time I finish uni, assuming I stay with Woolies, I'll have been working there for almost 8 years, 7 as a permanent employee.I've been there five years in October. Right throughout my degree. Lucky me.
Quite good actually, atm.Ive got a question:
Im back in Australia now and am looking for a job - thinking of applying everywhere (Woolies included)
What are the chances that Woolworths will re-hire someone who left and is now coming back? My Manger ticked the "would re-employ" box on my leaving interview thing but just wondering in reality what chances would be to be re-employed?
I was talking to a girl at my store who went away for a year and she re-applied and was emailed back the next day for an interview. she said she only had to bo re-trained because the new reggoz were installed while she was away.Ive got a question:
