Man, I'm glad we don't get Mystery Shoppers.
That particular day there would have been one produce assistant on the floor, and possibly someone in meat - thats it. Everyone else was on checkouts.Wow I didn't even think it was possible to get 0% in a mystery shopper test. Even with no staff on the grocery floor I'm sure someone was there in other departments? Our SM is disappointed with 95% lol.
We have that policy too, but we still have to ask them if they would like a bag, i.e we can still give them out if they have just one item. Like I was standing behind a customer in line yesterday and he had one bag of toilet rolls, and he said "Uhmm can you put that in a bag?"Happy Birthday Harry!
Re: complaints - our SM was dealing with an angry customer who was amazed about our "3 items no automatic bag" policy lol.
Was funny to watch, SM gave him a bag and after arguing he was on his way.
Yeah but having to ask is pathetic. You heard the Woolworths radio ad about the 3 items policy, he saysWe have that policy too, but we still have to ask them if they would like a bag, i.e we can still give them out if they have just one item. Idddddiot.
I loled.Chances of getting overtime at Woolworths? Hmmmm....how about zero/nil.
In regards to the mystery shopper - I can't stand how management over reacts to the report every single time. You'd think we flicked boogers at the shopper
Yeah but having to ask is pathetic. You heard the Woolworths radio ad about the 3 items policy, he says
"If you have less then three items, we wont automatically offer you a bag" etc, so it's stupid how some stores make you ask anyway.
I love how people look at you and speak like ".......put it in a bag?" if they have 1 or two easily carry able items, idiots.
Nooooo! I ring up people all the time! Apparently when the old SSO left the phone bill went down like $200 something dollars.I forgot to mention. About two months ago our store started blocking all outgoing calls (except for managers office and cash office phones).
The only calls you can make from phones now are speed-dial numbers.
Fucking pathetic way of saying a dollar. "Hmmm what way can we cost cut now? We've slashed wage budgets, hours, staff, hmmm. Oh! lets disable phone calls so we save 25 fucking cents each call"
Sad.

Yes, it definately has beencan anyone confirm that the bag policy has been abolished?
Whoa. So you dialed 2222 then the landline number, or 3333 and then the mobile number? My store was similar, pressing a line was blocked, except I discovered that you press speed 2222 then you get an outside line and speed 3333 to get a mobile...
If their blocking it the same way, there may be a code like that you could see if you can find...
