yeah, try telling that to my store. Pretty much all our part-timers (and some full-timers) get different shifts everyweek. We just have to sign a new contract every week (each contract has "1 week only" written on it). I'm sure it's a headache for our payroll clerk, but that's the way it works at our store. I mean, most of us don't really NEED to have the same shifts every week.I'd much prefer to be on a contract. But apparently they can't put me one one because my shifts are all over the place.
I have a question (probably for townie) but is it possible to work a second job in the Woolworths group without incurring overtime penalties? Say I work 38 hours at Woolies, but if I want a second job at BWS for example, is that possible to work 15-20 hours there as well? I figure no since I'd have the same payroll number?
Edit, FYI: BWS is Qld's standalone liquor (since liquor isn't legally allowed in supermarkets here)
