not always true, there's a male teacher in his fifties at our school that suck and a female teacher who's in her twenties that's supposed to be good, but she distracts the students lol

both my english and maths teachers are woman. but my chem teacher is male and he's great also. : )

i would tend to think that younger teachers these days would probably be of lower quality in general compared to older ones because of the lower entry requirements into teaching nowadays.

Its always been like this - the highest paid industries attracts the top talent. In countries like Australia and other western societies, doctors / lawyers are among the smartest people in society. But in places like China, doctors aren't the smartest people, engineers are, because medicine isn't the highest paid industry there.

We bring our noodles from home. Noodles at my school are a fucking ripoff, $2.50.

Same, my school sells Fantastic noodles for $2.70 . Me and my friends bring shin ramyun cups and fill it with hot water from staff rooms. Thats why I love the English, Maths and Science staff rooms.
