Hey, don't you think today's chem one was better than yesterdays?

I think it was. I especially like the way J.P. interacted and joked. :D

Re: TSFX Head Start Program

I'm going to English 1-5. It's the only one I'll actually be able to make, since I'm going to Tazzy on the 14th. If I could, I would probably go to the physics and the maths ext lectures as well (+ the free essay writing one)
I'll be going alone, but I might meet up with a few friends when I'm there.

The School For Excellence
HSC Exam Help and HSC Programs & Notes

The Chem lecture provides students with the oppurtunity of revision of 'Production of Materials' topic and a head start for 2009 topics 'Acidic Environment' and 'Chemical Monitoring and Management'.

What made it great was just the way the ''vibe'' was spread throughout the room. And there was an eagerness to learn.

hehe..I went to both the 4u and the chem one as well.

in 4u i was mostly sitting there staring blankly at the front because I had no idea what was going on, not having done integration or log.

Why do people get to class so early anyway?

Re: TSFX Head Start Program

the chemistry lectures were brilliant!! i was so impressed, i have lived my life believing that i was a deadbeat chemist but jon-paul & that sefton guy were just so easy to understand.. i would LOVE to have them as my normal class room teacher!!!
my only complaint was that the seats were rather painful.. make that excruciating.. but the notes made up for it!! yes yes mmm very good stuff there, i'm quite a fan of the colours they chose for the front covers... band 6, here i come!!!

i thought the 4u lectures lived up to the name: "head start". but thats it.
my preoblem, too, was that i hadnt done integration/logs. but i thought the man taught it well enough. high paced (!) but you cant expect anything else in 9 hrs i suppose!

Personally I thought the 4u lectures would be better. I don't know how, but I did :spin: I'm a slow learner so many parts of the lectures had me confuzzled

Re: TSFX Head Start Program

well true he went very fast. im pretty sure that not many ppl were keeping up, apart from those who had done the topics before... i for one did struggle. BUT i kept telling muself that it would make more sense when i tried to look over the notes etc later at my own speed.

not sure how successful that will be though (=]) havent tried yet
=]

but with ^^, how exactly can someone learn so much maths in so little time?!!
for me, it was more of an outline of what i should do..(over the nxt couple of wks/moths)

Think of it like this, your learning the foundations or the 'skeleton' of the work right now, when you learn it at school, you will be putting the 'meat' on the bones and your knowledge of the work will be complete.
