If the courses you did in semester 1 are the same as the ones in which you are transferring to, then you do not need to repeat it when you transfer.

e.g. My situation. I currently do B Science. I initially wanted to do B Sc (Computer Science), however, I knew it might be too much for me to handle. As such, I picked the B Science, and completed all the pre-requisites for B Computer Science. As a result, I can transfer to it next year and continue onto second year as I have completed all the pre-requisites in the first year of B Science.

I wasn't too clear on your question, but that's what I thought you meant.
So how would you go about transferring into BSc (computer science) at the end of this year? As in, you wouldn't need to go back to the UAC and do a lengthy paperwork job or anything?

Yes I'd need to apply again at UAC and put B Sc (Computer Science) as my first preference.

Basically it's the same process as when you were doing the HSC.

But would I need to do any additional paperwork to ensure that the subjects I did for first year BSc is added to BSc (Nutrition). I mean, I don't want to find out after getting my 'transfer' complete that I've now gotta start the degree.. again from scratch, if you know what I mean.

well boredofschool your welcome
its all over now..
all we can do is wait
hahaha
and oh yeah my last transaction was number 4638 meaning not many people applied for mid years aye
coz think about it
if everyone applied and changed their info around say 10 times each
that makes only approximately 460 people that applied for a mid year transfer.. LOL

which is good !! :)

good luck !

The flexibility of the BScience allows students the opportunity to change study areas as their abilities, interests or career opportunities change. Flexibility may be of interest to students who are uncertain of the career path they wish to follow.

Alternatively, the science degree can allow students to nominate particular area(s) of study in their first years at University, providing a direction for study throughout the degree. The specialist major(s) will allow the student to graduate with expertise in a particular field or fields and students may nominate to have their major recognised in their degree titles.

Examples include science-based work in industry, research, forensic work, patent work, quality control, medical laboratory work, sales, marketing, personnel, librarianship, publishing, museum work, computing, information systems, biotechnology, administration, universities and government bodies.Analyst, Astronomer, Biochemist , entomologist,Biological Scientist, Biomedical Scientist, Biotechnologist, Botanist , Chemist, Computer Engineer, Computer Scientists, Computer programmer, Software Engineer, Conservator, Dietitian (with graduate study), Nutritionist (with graduate study), Environmental Scientist, Forensic Scientist, Geographer, Geologist, Geophysicist, Geoscience Technician , Horticultural Manager, Horticulturist, Hydrologist, Hydrogeologist, Marine Biologist, Information Systems Manager, Marine Science, Materials Scientist, Mathematician, Engineer, Medical Scientist, Metallurgist, Microbiologist, Museum Curator, Natural Resource Manager, Pharmacologist, Physicist, Psychologist , Sports Scientist, Sstatistician, Teacher - Secondary, Researcher, Research Scientist, Zoologist

its like when I did it the first time all over again :(
Hopefully I'll get my first/second preference so I won't have to worry or regret :)
