I know atars come out in 2 days guys
but basically I've preferenced unsw actuary and unsw double law however I'm not sure which one to preference 1st and which to pref 2nd.
actuary has a higher selection rank (99) while law is 97.7 + LAT. unfortunately, i bombed the lat (below 70 score). but I understand that a higher atar can compensate for a lower LAT right? considering how low my score was, i would need a substantially higher ATAR.

so which one should i preference higher? i'm keen on doing either course btw if that matters

What feels right in your body? What ignites your soul? I know that these prestigious institutions give notability to the degree you eventually obtain but will they bring the BEST out of you as in peace of mind , the feeling of joy, happiness , and having fun as you do the academic journey? Will the people in these courses match your energy, your love of life, your soul purpose OR will you discover that it's NOT all that?

I know this for sure by my family Doctor whose parents forced her to do medicine at the wrong University. She hated it. She nearly dropped out of medicine. I am so glad she did not because she is a brilliant GP. The thing is - future employees will buy your ENERGY before the DEGREE! If you are doing law - don't you want people to KNOW you are a lawyer with a heart and NOT just after their money? Isn't that the reputation you would love to be known for. Your cliental list will be endless as people will be connected to your BIG WHY? You travelled the road loving the process because the UNI you chose was right for you!

And remember - YOU can CHANGE your mind at anytime! Yes - you can ! So go where it feels right for you NOW - if it plays out in 6 months that it is NOT - MOVE your SOUL elsewhere! God's rejection is ALWAYS God's protection.
