Hi everyone,
IF YOU ARE ATTENDING/INVOLVED WITH USYD IN 2025 OR BEYOND PLEASE READ
It seems that many of the old Sydney Uni threads on BOS have died over the years. So I thought it would be good to revive some of them and try to make BOS a bit more of an active and helpful resource for students at USyd. Some of the ideas (mostly based on what used to be here) for threads are below:
IMPORTANT: The success of making BOS a truly helpful resource for USyd students is dependent on getting enough active members. If you know anyone who is going to USyd in 2025 or know of other users, please encourage them to use this forum and share it. Otherwise it will be pretty useless.
Please reply if you have any ideas as to how this could best work. Even start by just commenting your degree or something so that we can start to build a more active community on BOS and all help each other!

So I thought it would be good to revive some of them and try to make BOS a bit more of an active and helpful resource for students at USyd. Some of the ideas (mostly based on what used to be here) for threads are below:
- 'Chatter' thread - general discussion and chatting - off topic whatever
- Subject Reviews (someone revived it at the start of 2024, would be good if more people could engage) - Review your subjects so that other students can get an idea of whats involved and how you found it
- Annual 'Roll Call' thread - collect all the USyd students at the start of the year so that people can find others studying a certain degree and get advice/ connections
- Exam threads - Threads during exam periods for things like advice, timetables, results & predictions, or just to complain about how much you have exams
- Living on campus/Residential threads
- Majors/Subject advice (faculty based)
- Student/Social life thread - Things to do, events, general life as a USyd student
- Any other ideas that people come up with that would be helpful
