What banks offer it!

I want one! I want one!

P.S. when any1 says they want it to buy stuff off the net, more than likely they mean PORN! (lol, thats partly why i want it actually, haha, is that wrong?)

from memory visa had to petition the government/rba to change the banking rules to allow things like this. i dont know if that opened the door for mastercard or not.

anywhere that accepts mastercard seems to accept visa, why are you after a mastercard in particular, if you dont mind sharing?

nah cause it isn't a credit card
just get a low rate CC with a $500 limit if you want to develop a credit rating

I have the St George one, I don't want a true credit card as such coz I know I'd get myself into debt, but I need to be able to pay uni bills and stuff online.
But if I go into a shop or something, I just use the Savings account.

is visa debit always savings account? my mum wanted me to get one so I can avoid excess usage fees (because i only get 12 free transactions a month) and she said if I don't want cash out I can press credit and it still takes it out of my normal savings account.. but my mum's a bit daft sometimes.

If you press savings you get charged 60c per transaction. If you press credit it's free and it still comes out of savings. I feel weird going around and pressing credit, it's like I'm pretending I have a credit card :p
