It was stupid because people would call up and get cranky that the person they wanted wasn't in. This was over the Christmas holidays. God forbid they take a week off and spend some time with their family.
But it was also good because Dad worked upstairs and was the manager of the place, so if anyone gave me trouble I could just transfer them to him and he'd deal with them.
