the album 'the master's bedroom is worth spending a night in' by thee oh sees was quite good however, considering most indie rock just bores me now.

imo it has serious competition from the new spiritualized. j. spaceman has not sounded this engaging in over a decade. plus the debut album from sian alice group is proving to be a grower.

tbh i haven't found any spiritualized album to be engaging...(this is mainly going from ladies and gentlemen...) i mean i can recognise how good the songs are but as an album it tends to bore me.

but i haven't listened to the new one yet.

new one is less space rock more gospel. to be honest ladies & gentlemen drags in the second half. this album is a lot more concise in track length, and the songs feel a lot more focused. although as of yet none of the songs have hit me as hard as stay with me did the first time i heard it. god that song is amazing.
