I found the start kind of low but it has heated up to be a fantastic book..

The catcher in the rye by J.D. Salinger.

I just borrowed it yesterday, and i'm almost half way through (i'm a REALLY slow reader. It took me like a year to finish harry potter and the order of the pheonix.)
I'm serzly loving it so far, the main character Holden is so funny.

It's true dear, I also read it when I was in Year 11.

Gossip girl series - good for an easy read.

Leaning Towards Pisa (by Sue Howard) - a memoir about a protagonist escaping her busy Australian lifestyle by moving to Italy, finding love and falling in love with the Italian culture.
