-english ext. 1

-mathematics

-maths ext. 1

-economics

-business studies

-Accounting

-engineering studies

= 14 units :):)

i wanted to do design and technology instead of engineering studies but unfortunalty we needed 10 people to make a class and only 7 people had chose it =( still cant believe out of 220 poeple only seven people chose it. So sad...but i guess that engineering studies would still be alright. After all i did do graphics technology and got 96% for year 9/10 electives... and engineering is like another science subject... its like maths plus chemistry plus physics plus graphics technology...

Im just thinking... would i copee??
haha probably.. ;)
lol u prob wont read this as you posted so long ago, but anyway...

In the year 11 (preliminary) course i did 14 units (eng 3 unit, math 3 unit, physics, economics, bus st, anc history) and whilst i didnt have any free periods, i didnt find the workload too much at all. Honestly, preliminary course isn't that hard, it requires more effort than yr 10 yes, but really u could (like i occasionally did) go a whole week with out h/w at any point and u'd still be fine. I'd advise you in fact to do the 14 at this stage, as it gives you a wider variety of what to choose for hsc course (e.g you may absolutely HATE business studies for some reason, u can quite easily drop it and have 12 or even 13 units if u piked up a 4 unit.). Trust me, with 90% of students, at times they regret doing certain subjects instead of others, or rue the fact that they are unable to drop a subject because they wouldnt have enuf units.

Basically, 14 in my idea, is goooooooooooooooooooooooooood!:)

I think I may have made a mistake with Geography and Biology, though the lines they were in didn't interest me much.

What did everyone else choose???
i chose english, maths, more maths, business studies, ancient history and economics
