I lay out on the grass, eat my lunch and try to read my English text, but end up falling asleep instead. The sun is so nice and warm.

Last week I just walked around...ate...coffee...read, etc. I had a 4 hour gap on tuesday so I went home and came back.

I've changed my timetable so I don't have many breaks now, just a few 1-2 hours here and there where I will (hopefully) get work done so I don't have to do it when I get home!

I've been up and down to the Copy Centre, having lunch with friends or reading my novel in Fisher. I really need to get into study habits.

If you love sport, there are plenty of choices. There is lunchtime (and afternoon) soccer in Victoria park on most days. Just join and play a casual game or two. If you want something more serious, there are indoor competitions (basketball, soccer, etc) in the sports and aquatic centre (near Coop). You form a team, pay $50 registration fee, and play every week in a league. Tennis and squash are also cool.

- Go into the city, buy a book and then head back to Victoria Park for an hour or two (or the seats just outside the Stephen Roberts Lecture Theatre).
- Go and catch a movie.
- Walk around in circles.
- Hope that your friends manage to have a break for at least an hour.
- Spend an hour or so catching up on work/reading ahead, and then try one of the above suggestions.

Make the most of your first year... Do as little as possible in your free-time :p. Believe me, it's much easier to not worry now than it is in your later years.

If you go upstairs (or on the elevator) and go to a specific level (like 6- thats where i go), on the other side of the book shelves, there are desks where you can work at. :)

I go to work on my days off. Study, socialise, play pool, Kendo Club, Anime Society, helping people out with stuff or eat.

If you just want to read, just go up the stairs to Level 4 and sit on the chairs up there. If you want to study, do what Tennille said.

I only went on Friday this week. Since Wednesday is avaliable I'll make that training session only cause I want to work all day Thursday/Friday. Yeah, that single lesson on Friday I'm still sore from it. I was wearing a black T, glasses and jeans on Friday. You should've heard of my name from the Kendo emails. I was the second guy to win the Shinai + Bag, Steven :D
