still good to study commerce?

Has anyone decided to study commerce at uni?
My 6 preferences are all commerce, feel abit weird after it's done, there are too many people studying commerce at this moment, is it still worth to study?(I wanna study commerce-marketing)

I'm also considering architecture. What you guys think about architecture and marketing? (future prospect, find a job, money, whatever)
HSC is nearing, are you guys studying efficiently? I am not!

Competitive field so just beat everyone who does it or do something no one does.

Had a recruitment officer from BP come to our school who said Chemistry & Commerce can pretty much ask your own salary atm.

commerce is a broad and diverse field, there are many areas you can enter into and its a very mobile industry. with that being said, whether or not you study it should come down to what you enjoy and what you would like to pursue, not the number of other people doing it also

My dream is to work at Pixar or ValvE.
That's the final destination.
Until then I want to work in Screen and Sound.
My exact job title is something I'm going to decide next year.
I also want to fly to Canada to meet a friend of mine, and maybe work in digital media or animation over there.

I'm also really good with young kids, so there is possible part-time work there.

Plan atm is:
*go and study nursing (3 year course)
*become and RN and work in the ED
*by which time i should have my full licence ( i know, im lame, 18 and still on my L's)
*Apply for the NSW Ambulance service -the ultimate goal of this plan
yay!

oh! and im gap-yearing next year to become independent, so cafe,wollies,Target.anywhere that will have me worker for a year in the middle!

Dream is to work in Marketing and be a part-time actor and hopefully make it big (the dream, of course).

If I don't get a particularly good UAI though I have plans to probably join the Army and find a degree through there later on.

Hopefully get into a BA Creative Arts at Macquarie and then differ for a year while I tour with HSM and then kick of part time uni in 2010

Join military.
Leave military after five years.
Become merchant banker/white collar bitch.
Enter politics.
Save the world from environmental collapse/war/disease/poverty.
Invent a Lazarus machine which would make me young again.
