People mentioning 'advanced is advanced'...'standard is standard'... it's all garbage. I, myself am an advanced and extension student in a few subjects and let me tell you.. there are SO MANY people that do advanced courses who should drop to Standard. I mean D and E students. Even C isn't really good.
Just because someone does an advanced course, doesn't mean they are smart. People like that who lack in skills for the advanced courses do it to get into a uni course. There's no other logical explanation for it.. other than the fact that they have have major ego issues.. Because really, why would you do a subject if you suck at it?
But when it comes down to it... if you fail or suck at advanced level it's only gunna put your chances of getting into competitive courses down.

Doctor or hospital pharmacist. Will have a year off next year to earn some $$$ for youth allowance and then either do medicine, or biomedical science and then pharmacy, or biomedial science or engineering (mechatronic, mechanical or chemical) followed by graduate medicine. Either way its gonna be a while before i'm 'all grown up' with a career and such.

Right now I'm really considering Speech Pathology at USYD, which needs a UAI of 87.45. But that could change. I think I may just apply to a large number courses and see what my UAI ends up being.

Subjects: English Advanced, General Maths, Biology, Visual Arts, Modern History, Extension History.
UAI: > 87.45

But before university I plan on taking a gap year and travelling. :D

My french teacher wants me to go into primary school teaching and specialise in languages for some reason. I wanted to study secoundary education (humanities) at USYD but after hearing some horror stories...primary education is starting to sound pretty spiffy.

I think I'd just get so BORED at primary level though.

And I want to do the same too. USYD was my second preference.

-Arts USYD or UOW
