Well the course I did was only 115 bucks.
However, you probably don't need it.
Yeh i was fully stuffed with the script format, but I ended up copying a 'breakers' script I found.
How longs is yours?
I did all the partslast night and it was 15 mins so far...

i've always pondered about that point, if i can pick up on it.

hsc markers do mark the "same old thing" year in year out, but they never tire. that's admirable.

the same goes for teachers at school, who have to read 'the same' (in essence) essays every time an exam block occurs.

so, for a change; i am breaking the conventions per se by writing a different kind of poetry, it would be similar to 'the norm' however it would be more 'passionate', not that other poets are without ardent.

is anyone writing something CONTROVERSIAL? my script is a little controversial in places... but after hearing horror stories of peoples works not being marked because they were deemed 'offensive' im a tad cautious...

I'm writing a peice that critisises mankind and their belief.
It also presents the theory that 'crazy' people aren't crazy, they just have experianced things amnkind should not know about.

well, you can vent all those pent up teenage frustrations you have with the world, but disguise them as insightful social commentary.

I want some really good critisism but the few people I gave it to either tore it tto shreads or couldn't find a thing wrong with it. The only good ones were my teacher and a friend at work who gave me a few good ideas.

YES.

Constructive critism is what we're after in this game - my teacher gave me the most useless comment imaginable for what she looked at, so much that i was tempted to stop showing her my work in progress - had to turn to my father in the end (an english teacher too) for some useful critism

i'd rather people tear it to shreds and tell me why though, than someone to say its good and leave it (unless they tell me WHY its good, so i can do a repeat performance)

in retrospect, some of my english teacher's advice thus far has been pretty appropriate (especially for 2unit)... it can just seem useless at the time.
