Courtyards, flashy ID cards and years of tradition are all well and good...

Each person's perspective of what a uni is like depends on what uni they go to, what course they do, and a whole lot of other factors. There is no black and white, usyd good unsw bad thing. If you want to see for yourself what a uni is like, go to the open days, that's what they're for.

You can view all the facilities, seating capacities and pics of every UNSW theatre and Tutorial room and when they are occupied here.
I've been accustomed to watching some videos in an empty lecture theatre on 5x5m screens on breaks. You cant do that at USYD they dont have VCRs in theatres

but the fact is that most are like those with the exception of eastern ave, stephen roberts and wallace as i know but even those are still below UNSW standard (only eastern ave has LCD monitor and touch screen controls while ALL UNSW have those facilities as standard).

Remember once upon a time UNSW theatres were shit house but they upgraded them while USYD buys another gargoyle for the quad.

Oh thats why I HATED USYD wen I was there during the Open Days last yr, and during the HSC Economics lecture things...their lecture theatres sucked! like all the chairs were broken and made of HARD WOOD!
