Because of the system my school uses which is over the year we rotate teachers on the subjects. I have done chemistry, biology and electricity/waves but have not yet done medicine or physics. I want to do physics but I am not sure what its like and I have to pick my subjects by the 12th

Any advice?

LOL kids.
Physics in HSC is over 9000 times easier than first-year university physics.
Physics taught in Year 11 and 12 focuses more on the context and history of physics.
If your mathematics isn't that up to scratch it should not be a significant impact to you.
The assumed level of mathematics is Year 10.

Some of the concepts can be a bit radical but once you get ur head around it, it's so easy and so much fun!

think about what you enjoyed in years 9-10 science. if you enjoyed mechanics (velocity, acceleration, inertia, etc), electricity, light (refraction, diffraction, etc) and space then you will enjoy physics

i wouldn't recommend doing physics if you are only going to take general maths -- it's definitely doable but you will find it more stressful.

good luck :)
