I don't have a particular favourite, but I love all those "literature" books we read in school that everyone else seems to hate and find boring.

I especially liked our year 5 & 6 reading list, which included:
- Animal Farm
- To Kill A Mockingbird
- Goodnight Mister Tom
- The Cay
- Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry
- Lord of the Flies

You get the gist of it.

Also, The Book Thief, The Kite Runner, A Thousand Splendid Suns

And Jodi Picoult Books

Yeah, I'll stop now :)

I wasn't commenting on your choice of books, but you seem to have a long list. Which is a good thing. I personally don't know which book is my favourite, I have read lots, plus there's more to come.

I'm more of a movie person :p

His Dark Materials series by Phillip Pullman. Even though I'm not 12 any more.
His Dark Materials is brilliant. I think I'll still love it when I'm 40 :)

I can't decide a single book I love the most. I'll make a short list
LOTR
Perfume: the Story of a Murderer
Brave New World
His Dark Materials
Sophie's World (changed my whole perspective on the world)
Thus Spoke Zarathustra (not all the way through that yet, but so far I love it :D)
1984
Ian Irvine's books

...I've probably forgotten some here...

The whole of the Harry Potter series.

After reading the whole series over and over many times, i begin to realise why the HP books are so popular.
