HSC marks: Adv. Eng. - 87.7, Maths - 89.4, Legal - 90.8, Economics - 88.3, SoR II - 90.9.

Percentiles Adv. Eng. 84.1, Maths 84.2, Legal 90.1, Economics 83.2, SoR II 88.7

From 2009 results, though you can use it as an estimate on what you should achieve.

Just the percentile of the state that gets that score in a subject.

reading off otehr person's results, like an 89.4 in maths is at the 84.2 percentile.

To add up on that, for example in maths by getting that mark the person gets top 15.8% of the people who took the test.

By ATAR Calc,

80 Standard English

90 Mathematics Ext 1 and 2

84 Physics

83 Chemistry

You will hit exactly 95.

I hope you don't write like this in your essays...

If you're going for 85+, even with your subjects, you should be able to get 85+.

Why are you stressing about past papers NOW? You still have 8 months till the actual HSC starts.

I know people who've done that in one month and gotten 97+.

that is magnificent and no i don't write like that in my essays. i am just in a rush to find the answer. its just that my whole physics class is behind and i need to understand the whole concept of space, that takes around indicative 30hrs. i am one of those kids that did not care in yr 11 and when it hit yr 12 my mind just changed. i was still doing pretty good in yr 11 i was topping the class. last term i had some assessment's to do i aced all of them. in english i had a task were i needed to write out a speech and an essay about wilfred owen i did that. i got around 13/15 the task was out of 15% of the course mark so i achieved 13% for the task and i felt happy that i am getting that high, then i had done a maths test after that and a physics one to, i achieved 13%/15% for physics and for the maths 14%/15% to top off all that i even achieved a 12%/15% for biology i was thrilled then came the 6 weeks. to much playstation broo forgot everything about the space concept. so i started going hard out and study 4 hrs a day. all of a sudden school is really important do you have any study techniques.
